The Brunch 'N Blessings Food Basket Exchange is a reciprocal food security system that provides nutritious, culturally relevant food baskets to underserved women in Syracuse NY. The program will also offer screenings for Health Related Social Needs for all participants.

 

The Food Basket Exchange utilizes a “give and receive” model - women who receive a basket are encouraged (but not required) to contribute to their community in a way that aligns with their capacity - volunteering time, sharing skills, or leaving encouraging messages to be included in the next basket.

 

This program will also include a quarterly gathering where recipients and volunteers come together for a meal shared in the community or a mini workshop on meal planning and other healthy lifestyle tools.

We are looking for partners who want to donate funds or products toward this initiative and would be happy to share additional information with you. Please note that 100% of all donations go directly toward The Brunch N Blessings Food Basket Exchange!
